I have a pair of old 4.2's that I've had laying around for a while. I hooked them up to see if they still worked, and found out one of the tweeters is blown. I took the grill off and found a couple of small tears. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement tweeter or know of another brand that would work instead?
May be it's a blessing in disguise - time to upgrade maybe?
There are many you can do better with these days, like www.ascendacoustics.com cbm-170.
I wouldn't put money in to Bose if I were you.
You are in for a pleasant surprise when you get better stuff - your ears will thank you.

Don't worry--I upgraded a while ago to a full Onix Rockets setup. That's why the Bose have been laying around not putting out music. I wanted to replace the tweeter to either give them to my brother who hasn't gotten spoiled on good speakers or to try to sell them. Thanks for any replies.
