Converting subs for PC use

I have 3 "12 Alpine type S subs and a 400 watt amp.
I want to use the subs for my desktop PC.
What type of equipment is involved in a setup like this (parts, wires, adapters, etc)?
How reliable would it be?
How difficult is the installation?

Any info is appreciated.

Sale the subs, go out and buy you a really nice set of speakers for your computer, Even though that would look and sound neat... hmm I hooked my computer into my stero using some rca/headphone adapter.. into the sound card.. it was alright.. if you want something nice.. just get a system with a few satallite speakers and subwoofer. Look for good rms, and find out what your sound card can push, if you can get enough money off the speakers, Update your sound card. I think they have a 5.1 dolby Digital sound card out now.

Yes, I have been researching into it a little more, and I'm finding that it could be quite the hassle.
Your right, my best bet is to purchase a new speaker system. I have a good sound card: Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer. Thanks for your input.
