Hello guys, I'm planning to buy Marantz NA8005 Network audio player to benefit his DAC capabilities and avoid cabling from source to amp. Furthermore i'm planning to user foobar2000 software to directly stream from my laptop to the player. I guess ill use the DLNA feature in order to avoid any cabling. My question here is: will i loose any quality compared to directly connect my laptop via USB to the marantz? Thanks
Theory says not. Certainly, the potential for losses and poor sound quality is much greater elsewhere in the system. Don't worry about this connection.
