Jamo 310's and Onkyo 501

Is this a good fit ? I'm a newbie looking to buy the Jamo set of speakers, and need advice on the receiver. Salesperson is pushing the Onkyo, don't know enough to dispute, but fits in my price range.

Any help appreciated.
