I recently bought a Teac CD-RW880 recorder so I can transfer my vinyl and cassettes to CDs. But the 80 minute limit on music CD-R and CD-RW discs doesn't do much for all my 90 minute cassettes that I custom mixed over the past 35 years. I want the whole 45 minutes per side, not a cutoff version. So...I was wondering about the use of DVD-Rs since they can hold so much more music. Can this be done via the CD recorder or a DVD recorder then transferred to CD or played on a CD player. Then, how about playback in the cars?

.

Contact the software provider you are using. Most DVD-R's can be written as audio only with a few adjustsments.
