OK, maybe a I looked away for one second. What did I miss?

I keep going back to Atkinson's comments regarding the latest version of the Mac MC275 (which is pretty much the original version of the amp from 1961), "Good audio engineering is timeless."

I don't doubt the designers have a great deal invested in this amplifier but, will anyone say that about this product 50 years on?

For 12,000 Euros it better be something. It probably does sound good. The dealer I usually do business with carries it, but for that price needless to say I'm not really interested in a serious audition.

Take heart, Dan, soon 12,000 Euros won't be worth diddly.

Definitely not Jan. I would think its a flash in the pan product. A damn cool product that perhaps at best could bring the A/D technology to light but its definitely a unit nobody will remember. Or know of for that matter. It looks flashy but I wonder how it sounds. The remote control is cool.
