Heres my question of the day... I have digital cable. However I can only get my reciever to decode the audio in analog mode. The cable box is a motorola unit through ATT (comcast). I really would like to be able to hear things that are sent in surround! The cable box seems to only have a speaker out on it - left and right that is... Is there some way to make it decode? You can get Dolby Pro-Logic from those two analog outputs just fine.
To get Dolby Digital you will need a SPDi/f output on the cable box and a corresponding input on your receiver.
