I have a Marantz SR5600 on order and I'd like to use my Pyle-Pro equalizer. I'm not sure if the two co-exist. I believe there is 'tape' connectors in the back so I guess it will work. Has anyone connected an equalizer with a modern home theater receiver? Result?

You are actually thinking of connecting Pyle with Marantz??? Thank goodness they can't co-exist:-)

Maybe you'd care to elaborate. I have no idea what you're talking about. It was a simple question.

Perhaps it would help if you explained just what you expect once the EQ is installed. The Pyle is surely a two channel network since you intend to insert it through the tape loop. This will only give adjustment to the front two channels. That leaves the center speaker without EQ and could result in than stellar sound quality since the center carries the load when in 5.1 mode. There are likely better ways to do what you are going to attempt other than with a two channel EQ device. So, tell us what you expect from this set up.
