Power

Jason Stephens
I own klipsch kg 3.5s which have a 65 watt handling capacity accorcding to the manufacturer. I am looking into purchasing a stereo receiver, probably denon or hk. Both of the receivers I am looking at push about 100 watts. My question is if it is bad for the receiver to be pushing more power than the speakers are supposed to handle? What kind of problems will I run into?

No problem at all. If you encounter a problem with too much power then you are playing beyond the capabilities of the speakers and less power wouldn't have helped you at all. Is Arnold Schwarzeneggar too strong too lift 65 lbs.? No it just means he can do the job easier and for a longer period without getting shakey. Hope that helps. All questions are welcome.
