Hello All
I'm new to this home theater so i need lot of help ... and also hope i've come to the right place...

Here are my HT setup
for speakers
front: Klipsch RF3 II - rated 150w
Center: Klipsch RC3
Rear: Klipsch RS3 II
Sub: Klipsch RSW12
Receiver : Yamaha HTR-5790 rated at 110w/ch 7.1

here is my question:
The Receiver seem to be doing a fine job for Movie , But when i want to listen to it does not have that puch that i wanted ....
Can you guys explain to me that : does 110watts/ch from a receiver the same as 110watts/ch from an Amplifier

Thanks

PS: because i'm looking to buy a Yamaha Amp to drive my front speakers
this is the AMP: Yamaha MX-600U rated 135w/ch

Should i get the AMP or stick with what i have ?

The Yamaha is probably closer to 80-90 wpc when measured compared to a 125 wpc NAD, Adcom, Rotel or similar separate or integrated.

And, I don't think Yamaha makes "amps" except guitar amps but you can sure try to find one.
