Sony STR-DE898

Anonymous	Posted on Tuesday, July 05, 2005 - 02:35 GMT Okay, I just bought my first new stereo receiver in over 20 years -- and it does not have the speaker wire connections that you simply push the speaker wires into. (And, yes, I have already realized that CDs have replaced vinyl records.) There are red knobs (it is a Sony STR-DE898) on this one and I cannot figure out how to connect the speaker wires (and the included manual does not help). Anyone out there who can help? Thanks in advance.
jet2001 Bronze Member Username: Jet2001 Post Number: 58 Registered: Mar-05	Posted on Tuesday, July 05, 2005 - 13:30 GMT 2 ways...1, unscrew the red and black knobs and slide the speaker wire into the appropriate hole that is created, then tighten down the knobs again. 2, attach banana plugs to your speaker wire and insert the banana plugs into the front of the red and black knobs.
