Amplifier Crossover vs Sub Crossover

I currently have an Onkyo 601. The 601 allows me to adjust the crossover down to 60hz and up to 150hz. I have a Plk psw303(8inch sub that kicks a**) and it has the cross over adjustments as will.

I currently use the unfilted sub input wich bypasses the subs crossover and uses the amps crossover.

Wich crossover is better to use....or should I use both in the filted inputs??

And for movies is the preout best to use or go hi level inputs?

Anthony,

As a general rule, use the receiver crossover and disable the sub crossover switch. The sub crossover switch is only intended for use when the receiver processor isnt present.
