NO! Pre amp outputs are meant to run into power amp inputs, not another pre amp input such as 5.1 in. What are you trying to accomplish?

I've got a new receiver that doesn't have have a phono input as well as a lot of OPT inputs. I'm just trying to link the 2 receivers and use them with one set of speakers. I probably could use the tape in and outs hooked up to out put the turntable. This would work for analog signals. What about digital signals like CD recorder. digital
