Paridigm max. input?

Question about the Pardigm Mini Moniters. I have the Pioneer 1014 110W RMS per channel receiver. And the specs for the mini moniters is:

Suitable amplifier Power range 15-100w
Maximum input Power 80w

Does that mean my reciever could blow them easily? Or have to much distortion?
Or, are pardigms rated differently?
Any sheds of light would be apreciated.

No, that should work just fine. I had Monitor 5's on the front and Mini's rear (still have the Mini's rear). I use a 250 watt per channel Hafler power amp and never blow anything. I currently have Studio 40's in that setup sounds great. With too much power you can always use restaint with the volume knob. If it distorts your using too much power. With too little power you don't know until you run out of voltage, start clipping and by that time you have often already damaged your speakers. Good to have enough power to provide headroom for dynamics.
