I'am getting Hiss/Hum noise with my NAD T761 in surround mode. It's so annoying that I cannot watch movies using my dish receiver nor my DVD player. I am using top of the line monster cables as well as a monster power cleaner HTS3600. Otherwise, the unit works beautifully. Please help?????????

Have you just bought the NAD or has this suddenly started to happen?

There is an interesting thread on this subject here which may help. :-)

It ain't going to go away. The noise has been the problem with NAD AVR's since the get go. They just now solved it with the most recent production runs of the 3 series.

So why did the early models get good reviews, if that were the case?
This guy is talking about a big problem. Don't you think the reviewers might have noticed it??

Don't listen to them Dominique.
Check your surround sound level settings for each channel. I had a similar issue with my HK and changing the levels on each channel from the default auto-settup fixed it instantly and was 100 % better.
