Static when playing CD-R's

Murray Hall New member Username: Muzza HamiltonNew Zealand Post Number: 1 Registered: May-05	Posted on Sunday, May 22, 2005 - 09:21 GMT I have just upgraded my receiver to a Pioneer VSX-D912, and when playing CD-R discs from my Kenwood CD player connected to this receiver I get a lot of static over the music. This didn't happen when using my old Kenwood Receiver. Tried analogue and optical connection but no difference. Original CD'd play fine..any clues why this happens??

Try made in Japan Fuji CD-Rs - sounds better. Also try to use EAC program - download free off the web. Google search for it - (exact audio copy) This might do the trick.
