NAD Analog 753 vs Panasonic Digital XR70

I've been planning a NAD 753 + Monitor Audio S6/S1/LCR home theater purchase for a while. Just ran into the new digital AV receivers and am now wondering whether the Panasonic XR70 is a better bet. What are the pros and cons of going digital?
