Does anyone have experiences with the Mordaunt short 908 and particularly the bass. Can they handle some bassheavy music (like drum&bass) at high volume. Thanks.
Tom: I'm not sure about the M-S 908 - but I just got a M-S 909 subwoofer. Put it through its paces this afternoon - and gotta say: "Wow!" I think the M-S gear can handle about anything you might throw at it! But from what the company says, break them in a bit slowly - not too much power for the first 50 hours or so. With the aluminum cone and bicycle-tire-large surround, I think it would take a lot to over-power it.
Don't know what kind of music you listen to - but I put on Diana Krall's DVD "Paris Concert" this aft, and the sound was so rich and full that it blew us away! Rock or acid - well, I'm not sure about that. . . maybe somebody else can help.
