Have heard rave reviews about this japanese made SET amp. Rated at only 3.5 watts per channel, They dont have any dealers in Hungary. Will appreciate if any one owns one or has heard them at length. Do u think they can drive a pair of Cadence Hybrid electrostatics (91db, 8 ohms).

With any speaker, but particularly electrostatics, it is not the overall sensitivity that is important but the overall impedance the amplifer sees on its output. 3.5 watts is unlikely to prefer the overall load of having to drive through the transformer most electrostatics have at the inputs. You can certainly try the combination but I wouldn't expect good results. But you asked for comments from anyone who has experience with that combination. I have no direct experience that you ask for. Just common sense.

I just build one a month ago and recently change the tubes for a better set (i.e. NOS GE 6SN7 and RCA 5U4 with TJ mesh plate 2A3) and it sounds absolutely great.
Very subtle, yet firm when needed with wonderful tones.
I do run it through very highly efficient speakers (Lothx troubadour >100db/w)
