Saw on the yawaonline.com website this evening that they are listing the T753, T763 and T773 "Ver.2" receivers. Anyone know the significance of the designation - DPL IIx or maybe noise issue fixes? BTW, the 743 is unchanged.

I think it's Nads way of saying they're reconditioned.

"Version 2" indeed refers to a software upgrade, which I believe includes DPL IIx and some other software changes/enhancements.

Version 2 receivers are not reconditioned. It does have to do with a software change. Version two's (at least the 773) have no more HDCD decoding, as it was replaced by DPL IIx, as Darryl suggested above. There are also changes to zone 2 controls, bass management, etc.
