Unregistered guest | Ok, I've read a lot about the VSX-1014TX, and am auditioning one now (sounds awesome, btw). Perusing the web tonight though I find this: VSX-1012-K at Costco.com: http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11007126&whse=&topnav=&cat=3840 &hierPath=79*3840* and at Bestbuy.com: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?CategoryID=cat03031&id=1093468552215&sku Id=6008107&type=product Now, this product is no where to be found on Pioneer's site (though the 1014 is tough to find as well) My question to all of you is, has anyone had experience with this model? So far as I can tell, the only differences are the illuminated remote, software upgradeability(1012), more digital connections(1012), and no video upconversion(1012). Oh the 1012 is about 7 pounds heavier and an inch taller. It's more expensive... So what about the sound? If anyone has heard one of these in action or can tell if there's any audible difference between these two receivers I would sure appreciate it. Jesse p.s. great info on this Forum... |
