I'm trying to build a good audio system for a medium-sized room. I've been researching but am new to this and am concerned about spending money I don't need to. Primary purpose of system is for music and movies. Any thoughts on the below are very welcomed:

Floor speakers: Dynaudio Audience A72 ~$1850
Center speaker: Dynaudio Audience 122C ~$850
Subwoofer: Dynaudio Sub 500 ~$1400

Receiver: Rotel RSX-1056 ~$1299
DVD/CD: Rotel RDV1060 ~$899

I plan to add remotes later, so any suggestions there are also welcomed.

Looks like a very good setup. Although I would switch the A72 to A122, because it's a better match with 122C and the Sub takes care of the lowest frequencies.

I would also take the 1067 rather than 1056 because of the difference in power, sound quality and also features. The 1067 is also 7.1 ready while with 1056 you'll need an additional amp to go 5.1->7.1.

What are the benefits of 1060 over 1050? To me the 1050 seems very similar to the 1060 and it even has some extra features like MP3/WMA over the big brother.

For surrounds A42 or A42W will be perfect.

Very nice with a bit of envy. Enjoy.
