He doesn't have the DC3's for me to listen to, but he says that he will exchange them if I don't like them. He also carries Monitor Audio products and I'm thinking the Gold Ref 20's may be a safer route. Does anyone have any experience with the Eyris DC3's? I would use the DCC center and EFX-1 surrounds, Earthquake MKV-15 sub, B&K Ref 50, B&K Ref 200.7. Thanks! |

They dont seem magnificent at first, but the longer you listen to them you'll find them very pleasing. The 3D imaging is much better than with most normal speakers, and the uniformity between the speakers is very good. I usually find coaxial designs superior to separate drivers, it's so much better when the sound comes from just one point. Here's a review of the Eyris non-DC: http://www.homecinemachoice.com/reviews/wvreviews/SpeakerPackages/Tannoy/TannoyE yris.php Sensys non-DC: http://www.homecinemachoice.com/cgi-bin/displayreview.php?reviewid=2972 Sensys DC: http://www.homecinemachoice.com/cgi-bin/displayreview.php?reviewid=3392 |
