The VCR with S-Video input is usually over $100 (which is too expensive for VCR!) I think that the receiver (H/K 230) doesn't convert composite to s-video input, so the sources have to be connected with all the same type. Am I correct? So, the only way to connect the VCR with my receiver is to buy the one with S-Video input? |

JVC makes several with S-Video inputs and outputs--I actually haven't seen anyone else currently making VCRs with S-Video connections except JVC. You can get the lower-end models for under $100. |
