What can I buy for 300 dollars without going to ebay?

i have limited funds but i still want a subwoofer to match 5 bose cube speakers hooked to a harman kardon av receiver. there are bose subs on ebay that goes for this price but what do you think?
whats the best sub for this price range? thanks.
