Question:

I have an LG 6000 camera phone and yesterday a message that read -car kit- came across the screen and i can't deactivate it. It will only work with head set. Help please.

Answer:

I assume from the description that you own the LG VX6000 camera phone. From the sound of your problem, it seems as if the phone thinks that the car kit adapter is plugged into it. I would think that when it is, the message that the car kit is attached is displayed normally and the message disappears when the unplugged from the phone.

If this is the case, you might want to try jiggling the car kit plug in and out of the phone to see if that clears the message. Also try turning off the phone to see if that resets the message. Lastly, try resetting the phone to its default settings. To do this, press the menu button (left soft key), then press 9 (settings), then 4 (security). Enter your four-digit lock code and press 6 (reset default). Press OK, select Revert, and press OK.

If all else fails, I would recommend taking it back to your dealer and ask them for help!
