Comments on: Geneva Model M Wireless Review everything electronic Thu, 21 Jan 2016 23:57:00 +0000 hourly 1 By: Tenor1 Fri, 08 Aug 2014 07:55:00 +0000 As a classical pianist and violinist I find the Geneva-M wireless one of the most accurate speakers on the market and very surprised with the low rating given here. Each person has an agenda of expectations and my only purpose with commenting here is to clarify to other classical musicians to actually listen and judge for yourself.

My criteria was to find something simple to replace a huge and very expensive stereo system. I tried the Zeppelin, the Sonos system and the Bose speakers and found them completely unacceptable to my hears. The Geneva has a very fine mid and high range sound and, for my taste, a full bass that is not exaggerated as most speakers I auditioned.

I primarily listen to my local FM classical station plus have the Classical app on my iTouch and frequent those stations also.

This may not be the ideal speaker for people who want a bass-heavy system. This is replacing my $12,000 system and feel I have not compromised anything, but rather gained space in my room. I still have my complete old system in the closet and can hardly believe this small unit, which costs the same as the speaker wire from my old system, produces such an acceptable sound to my ears.

I would give the system a 5/5 rating.
