Still trying to get warranty clarification on whether the two year warranty has reset due to design defect, other this 5 month wait has chewed off 5 months of the warranty. I smell class action lawsuit if it is the latter.

I have just recently been through quite the ordeal with this as I placed an order and wasn’t alerted of the backorder when my order was placed (and I was charged). The reseller said it would be drop shipped directly from the manufacturer but it never happened.

I called Sennheiser directly and they said they are anticipating stock at the end of August. I received an update from the reseller (presumably from info from their Sennheiser rep) that it would be mid November. Crutchfield, however, says mid September is when they expect stock back.

Pick your poison, I guess, but it sounds like at least a month and a half if not 2+ months. I’m frustrated as all the reviews I read keep pointing me back to those headphones being exactly what I’m looking for but I have to sit impatiently until they come back around.

As a side tip, though, look up the website GreenToe and be aware that I “made an offer” of 375 on there and it was accepted (I later cancelled due to the backorder). If you order there they charge you right away but it’s a hell of a discount if you’re definitely planning to buy them when they come back into stock.

Is everything back to normal,or if not, do you know when they anticipate renewing shipments to dealers? I know they are still available through some vendors, but I don’t want to drop $500 on a new pair of headphones only to have to send them back to Sennheiser for them to correct the Bluetooth issues.
