BERLIN, GERMANY and OTTAWA, CANADA — January 8, 2007 — snom technology AG, developer and manufacturer of Voice-over-IP (VoIP) tele-phones, today announced a strategic partnership with Objectworld Communica-tions Corp, the leading provider of VoIP phone systems and Unified Communica-tions software for Microsoft Windows platforms. The partnership will enable the delivery of fully supported and certified, end-to-end SIP telephony solutions for snom and Objectworld customers.

“Together, snom and Objectworld provide a fully supported and certified SIP telephony solution,” said Michael Knieling, CFO and executive vice president of marketing and sales for snom. “snom’s unique interoperability allows us to work with partners such as Objectworld in order to provide our customers with optimal telephony solutions. We look forward to this partnership with Objectworld to in-crease the support services and capabilities of our phones.”

Objectworld’s UC server will automatically detect and configure any one of the snom line of IP phones (snom 300, snom 320, and snom 360) when they are connected, allowing for customers to experience truly plug-and-play telephony solution. The Objectworld Connect Interoperability Program enables Object-world customers to make their choices with the peace of mind that comes with a fully supported solution by certifying and supporting the interoperability of prod-ucts and services with Objectworld UC Server. UC Server is the only VoIP phone system fully integrated with Microsoft Active Directory.

“We’re very excited to add snom to a growing list of Objectworld Connect part-ners” said Steve Grassie, vice president of business development and marketing at Objectworld. “snom provides feature-rich, high-quality phones at a very rea-sonable cost. This relationship increases the choices available to UC Server cus-tomers and guarantees that deploying snom phones with UC Server will be ut-terly painless — a matter of plugging the phone in. No one else in the industry provides that level of simplicity, openness and peace of mind to their customers. I’m sure our customers will be as thrilled as I am that we’re providing it in partner-ship with snom,” Grassie added.
