To spearhead a wide variety of key MARCOM related activities and communication strategies

January 1, 2006 — Old Lyme, Connecticut — Sennheiser Electronic Corporation (SEC), a leading provider of professional audio products for recording, live sound, installed sound, broadcast, film and television, and consumer markets continues to energize its communications efforts with the recent appointment of Jo Ann Anderson to the position of marketing communications manager.

In her new role, Jo Ann will spearhead a wide variety of key MARCOM related activities and communication strategies for all U.S. business channels; managing the creative development and production of communications tactics and programs; negotiating and implementing media; supervising external advertising and public relations agencies and consultants; and overseeing the Sennheiser marketing budget. In addition to working with communications partners across the country, Jo Ann supervises a staff of four at SEC.

“During this time of tremendous growth and activity for Sennheiser, we’re delighted to have JoAnn join us in this pivotal role,” says Stefanie Reichert, Sennheiser vice president strategic marketing. “Her background in the consumer and telecommunication business, excellent communication and organizational skills, high energy level, and entrepreneurial work ethic will be key assets as we work to build our brand across all channels and deliver the right communication tools to our sales teams and distributors.”

Jo Ann joins Sennheiser from the Boston University Corporate Education Center where she was responsible for all global marketing communications, strategic positioning and branding for the university’s technology training Affiliate Network. Previously, she held key marketing and channel management positions at GN Netcom, a leading provider of telephone headsets and hands-free communication technologies. Earlier in her career, Jo Ann co-founded Terrapin Associates, an award-winning communications firm specializing in video and multi-media productions for marketing, training and trade shows.
