Seven Reflective Surfaces at Your Fingertips Versatility abounds with Lastolites new bottle top Tri Flips

Orlando, Florida (February 26, 2006) — Continuously revolutionizing the lighting industry, Lastolite is set to once again raise the bar for the competition, as it will be introducing a new reflector kit at this year’s PMA that will have photographers all over flipping out! Aptly known as Tri Flips, the new reflector kit offers photographers an unprecedented 8 in 1 solution, allowing them to be ready for any lighting scenario.

Reversible sleeves that feature a different reflective surface on each side, Tri Flips take advantage of the award winning Tri Grip reflector. Allowing the photographer to cut down on bulk, the Tri Flips, combined with a Tri Grip, allow the photographer to carry just one reflector instead of 8. Tri Flips quickly slip over a Tri Grip and are ready for use. The Tri Flip cover can be left on the Tri Grip when folding for added convenience. Sold as a pair of two, the Tri Flips bring an added level of versatility to its award-winning Tri Grip reflectors, and include 7 different surfaces:

– Black (double sided)
– Gold
– Sunfire
– Silver
– White
– Sunlite (Designed for Digital)
– SoftSilver (Designed for Digital)

SoftSilver and Sunlite are two unique and ground-breaking surfaces that are specifically designed for digital. SoftSilver is a combination of one strip of silver and one strip of white that helps tone down the harshness normally associated with a pure silver reflector giving a softer effect. Because digital cameras are hypersensitive to colors in the yellow spectrum, Sunlite incorporates two strips of silver for every strip of gold helping digital cameras get better images. No matter what surface is used, Tri Flips provide an array of options to accommodate every setting and to achieve any desired effect.

As part of a family of innovative collapsible reflectors, the Tri Grip replaces the traditional round reflector with a triangular design, greatly improving ease of use and convenience. With comfortable handles, the Tri-Grip allows a photographer to hold the reflector with one hand and shoot at the same time. The triangular shape provides easy collapsibility, yet at the same time, maintains a stiff and sturdy shape while in use. The conveniently located handle provides for accurate positioning so light can be directed to awkward spots, such as under the chin and eyes. With no stands or brackets needed, taking lighting accessories on location has never been easier.

For those who don’t already own a Tri Grip, the Tri Flip 8:1 Kit includes one (33″) 2 Stop Tri Grip Diffuser. The Tri Flip 8:1 kit is the ideal solution for any photographer looking for manageability, functionality and versatility.
