David Wiener Ventures (DWV), Pass Labs and Salamander Designs Select Leading Brand-Building/P.R. Agency to Promote New, Innovative Products

NORFOLK, CT, Nov. 27, 2007 — Three innovative product design and manufacturing companies have each selected J.B. Stanton Communications to serve as its Brand-Building and Public Relations agency. The Agency will represent the companies to the expanding audio, Home Theater and Custom Install markets, focusing on new and upcoming products and innovations.

The companies are David Wiener Ventures (DWV), a design and innovation studio that creates some of the world’s most exclusive and prestigious products; Pass Laboratories, Inc., a high-end audio company renowned for its unique, innovative and practical designs; and Salamander Designs, Ltd., an innovative developer of modern furniture, storage, seating and mounting systems for Home Theater and A/V entertainment systems.

“We’re pleased to be working with three great, innovative companies,” said Bryan Stanton, CEO of J.B. Stanton Communications. “Each has a fascinating story to tell about how its unique combination of advanced engineering, in-depth research and passionate commitment to achieve their full potential.”

DWV
David Wiener Ventures (DWV) is a leading design and innovation studio the products of which exhibit extraordinary performance, style, materials and craftsmanship. DWV is relentless in its pursuit of superior products and groundbreaking technologies. Founded by David Wiener to create advanced vehicles, airplanes, furniture and fashion, DWV prides itself on a unique operational model, based on experience with Formula One racing teams, that inspires its staff to optimize performance, style, operations, image and success.

DWV has worked with many of the world’s great brands, including the U.S. Ski Team, Columbia, Cannondale, Nike, Ganassi IndyCar, and Ferrari SpA, for which it developed The Art.Engine in an exclusive, limited edition of 1,000, that the Agency will be promoting. The Art.Engine is an extraordinary $20,000 executive audio array unlike any other — a wireless digital stereo system that’s ideal for use in homes, offices — and even yachts.

Pass Labs
Pass Labs, founded in 1991 by legendary audio designer Nelson Pass, markets its unique amplifiers, preamplifiers and speakers throughout the world. Based in Foresthill, California, since its beginning, the company is widely regarded as one of the most innovative audio brands in the world. Its critically acclaimed Aleph, X and XA-Series products have won numerous awards.
The holder of several audio patents, Nelson Pass’s achievements include developing the first dynamically biased Class A amplifier circuit, developing a fully cascode audio power amplifier, and developing the Stasis amplifier in 1977. He helped popularize solid-state, single-ended Class A power amplifiers, developed the very successful Aleph series of products, and also the SuperSymmetry circuit, which exploits the properties of symmetrically balanced circuits and symmetric feedback to achieve low distortion and noise levels.

Pass Labs first SuperSymmetric amplifier was the X1000, which delivered 1,000 watts at low distortion with only two stages: a differential input pair of transistors and a large bank of output followers. The company is now poised to introduce the next generation of X-series amplifiers, a new speaker, and as well as its first-ever integrated amplifier, the INT-150.

Salamander Designs
Salamander Designs, Ltd. is a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of modern furniture, storage, seating and mounting systems for contemporary Home Theater and A/V entertainment systems. Founded in 1990 in Bloomfield, Connecticut, where it continues to be based, Salamander begins with a love of the simple, refined lines and functional forms of modern design and a dedication to unstinting quality. Its advanced, flexible solutions bridge the gap between home furnishings and home electronics during a fast-moving era in which furniture must accommodate the changing requirements of its owners.

Salamander’s A/V furniture lines — the Archetype System, the Synergy System and the Chameleon Collection — employ simple modular elements that handsomely accommodate virtually any design preference and system requirement. Its Matteo, Alex,Talia and soon to be introduced Olivia theater seating can be similarly customized with a broad range of materials, styling options and accessories, including tactile sound transducers for percussive movie dynamics, and delivered within a record-setting 10-15 day period. Salamander’s most recent offerings, shortly to be broadened, are dedicated mounting devices for plasma and LCD flat-panel displays that make them easy to integrate with its furniture systems or independently mount on a wall, allowing users to create sleek, fully integrated systems.

J. B. Stanton Communications is in its 30th year of specializing in representing electronics products and related technologies to the Custom Installation, Home Theater, Consumer A/V and Commercial A/V markets.
