PERKINELMER’S NEW ACULEDTM LENS SYSTEM, LHS-AL25, INCREASES LIGHT INTENSITY FOR SPECIALTY LIGHTING APPLICATIONS

ACULED System Provides High Brightness and Brilliant Color Mixing

Pfaffenhofen, Germany — PerkinElmer Optoelectronics, a global technology leader in digital imaging, specialty lighting and optical detection technologies, today announced the availability of the ACULED LHS-AL25 (All Color Ultrabright LED Lens Holder System), an easily attachable, cost-effective lens collection system for use in a variety of specialty lighting applications including mood lighting, vision systems, architectural lighting, and medical lighting.

The ACULED LHS-AL25 system has a compact size with a surface area of 25×25 mm² and is available with two different lens apertures. The LHS-AL25-L22 lens has a medium aperture of 22&#186 which can be used to make the ACULED a highlighter for illumination applications such as color changing spotlights. The LHS-AL25-L32 has a wider aperture of approximately 32&#186 and can be used to create a light cone for small distances between the ACULED and illuminated object. Both lens types provide superior far field color mixing for distances of over 20 cm from the lens.

The ACULED LHS-AL25 is very competitively priced. An evaluation kit is available with the ACULED, along with the two new lens models and may be ordered through our Customer Support centers in Europe and North America.
