New York — October 31, 2005 — HANNspree California, Inc. has entered a three-year partnership with the National Basketball Association and Women’s National Basketball Association that is reflected in the company’s introduction of an exciting lineup of unique lifestyle-oriented LCD television sets. All seven sets reflect the excitement and fun of basketball, feature the NBA logo and one model, HANNSxxl, is available in all 30 team logos and colors.
As part of the agreement, HANNspree will promote its NBA LCD TV sets in the U.S. HANNspree’s NBA-themed TVs will be available through NBAStore.com, the world’s only NBA Store on Fifth Avenue in New York City, national and regional retailers, all HANNspree-owned stores, HANNspree.com and Amazon.com. The agreement extends HANNspree’s rights to use the NBA to promote its products in nine countries in Asia including China and eight countries in Europe including France, Germany and the UK.
HANNspree will run new TV spots, scheduled season long, for pre-game on ESPN and ABC, Inside Stuff on ESPN and ABC, and other NBA programming. HANNspree TVs will be integrated into the NBA TV broadcast studio set, special NBA and WNBA events, including the 2006 NBA All-Star Jam Session, NBA Jam Van and the NBA Entertainment League. HANNspree will also have a customized video feature on NBA.com.

HANNspree NBA LCD TV’s feature a multi-dimensional 360-degree design, offering unique aesthetic appeal from all perspectives, front, back and sides. All models utilize cutting-edge technical features including best-in-class speakers from leading manufacturers, and high quality LCD screens developed in-house and in association with industrial leaders such as HannStar. Here are the initial entries in HANNspree’s NBA-inspired TV lineup:
HANNSxxl (MSRP: $599.99): This innovative design virtually transforms an official NBA jersey design into a 15-inch LCD TV and is available in all 30 NBA team colors and designs. The back and front of the set is branded with the respective NBA team’s logo and the NBA logo is on the front panel. The pebble grain surface and fabric-like feel are evocative of an authentic NBA basketball jersey. The monitor sits on a small basketball that tilts for the perfect viewing angle.
HANNSbackboard (MSRP: $1,199.99): This 23-inch flat-screen wide screen HD-Ready LCD Television resembles a basketball backboard complete with an LED shot clock on the front of the set that keeps the time. The cabinet has a clear Plexiglass front and two dome shaped speakers covered in black mesh are suspended elegantly on either side.
HANNSball.champions (MSRP: $699.99): This basketball shaped 15-inch LCD set is covered in authentic pebble grain and features a complete list of all teams that have made the NBA Finals since 1947 embossed on the back. It comes with an NBA branded remote. An optional stand lets users mount the set on either a wall or table and lets them horizontally rotate it 360 degrees for optimal viewing pleasure from any angle.
· HANNSrebound (MSRP: $749.99): The 15-inch HANNSrebound is modeled after a basketball backboard. The back is emblazoned with the official NBA logo and the set comes complete with an orange stand designed to resemble a basketball hoop. The stand swivels for the perfect angle. The NBA tagline, “I Love This Game” is etched along the top of the set. It features both transparent and metal materials.
· HANNSboombox (MSRP: $549.99): This 12.1-inch set features a stylized boombox design that brings back hoop dreams from the ’80s. A sporty handle lets you carry it easily from room to room! Additionally, the fun mesh design on the back is reminiscent of a chain link fence surrounding an urban basketball court. The NBA logo is featured on the front and back of the set.
· HANNSnet (MSRP: $599.99): Built to resemble a basketball inside the hoop, this 9.6-inch LCD set features a real metal ring surrounding a basketball shaped TV. The specially designed function keys and IR sensor mimic the shape of the free throw line.
· HANNSoptimus (MSRP: $399.99): This classically styled 9.6-inch LCD television set in sporty anthracite and silver, has the ever-popular tagline, “I Love This Game” printed along the bottom and a prominent NBA logo on the front. The stand, which also sports the NBA logo, rotates 270 degrees and doubles as a cover for concealing the screen when desired.
