Furman Signs Distribution Agreement With Almo Professional A/V

In a move to extend its sales and distribution network to professional A/V integrators, dealers, and consultants, Furman today announced that it has partnered with Almo Professional A/V. Under the distribution agreement, Almo will help establish distribution and manage sustained sales growth for Furman’s Pro 120V power management solutions.

With 12 distribution centers across the United States, Almo is a leading value-added distributor that specializes in serving A/V professionals in a wide variety of markets. The company will be adding to its offering Furman’s Pro A/V and home theater lines of power management solutions, which protect sensitive equipment while ensuring clear, crisp sound and picture quality.

Leveraging more than 35 years of power management experience, Furman offers a wide variety of products for Almo’s customers including power conditioners, UPS battery back-up systems, sequencers, AC power distribution, voltage regulators, and in-wall solutions.

“Our dealers want access to the Furman power management line because it offers high-margin opportunity and because they can now standardize on Furman for everything from a basic power conditioner for a single panel to a large-scale system for a command and control center,” said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and COO of Almo Professional A/V. “Furman shares our passion for quality and value-added service. At the same time, the Furman products protect the display investment, which brings peace-of-mind to each installation.”

“Almo Professional A/V enjoys a well-deserved reputation for dedicated customer service and support,” said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Panamax~Furman. “The company’s sales expertise and presence in key markets will be invaluable assets as we continue to make our power management solutions more accessible to A/V professionals.”

Furman will exhibit at Almo Professional A/V’s E4 AV Tour, a new traveling reseller event that kicks off on Dec. 8 in New York City. During the event, Furman will conduct a live demonstration of its new BlueBOLT™ IP control technology by controlling equipment in California, displayed on a live webcam feed in New York City.
