Much More Than Just an iPod Dock, Compact DWC-Aphex Equipped Wireless Music System Uniquely Brings Compressed Music Files Back to Life
PARK CITY, UT, Nov. 24, 2008 — David Wiener Ventures (DWV), an internationally acclaimed design house developing exclusive products such as the Ferrari Art.Engine wireless stereo speaker system, under the DWV and Ferrari brands, has begun shipping the Art.Suono Wireless Music Enhancing Transmission System and iPod Dock. Art.Suono is a limited edition, luxury entertainment product ideal for desktops, tabletops, and anywhere else the need for convenience, performance and superb design coincide.
DWV will exhibit the Art.Suono and preview upcoming new products in the rapidly growing David Wiener Collection (DWC) in Room 1405, Alexis Park Hotel at The Home Entertainment Show, Jan. 7-10, and also at a special event Friday, Jan. 9, 5-8 PM, in the Ferrari Showroom at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel.
Previewed offerings in the expanding David Wiener Collection will include Art.Studio tower audio systems, the Art.Solista wireless music enhancing system, the Art.Opera loudspeaker and a new edition of the DWC’s flagship Ferrari Art.Engine. All feature DWC-Aphex circuitry, the most advanced music enhancement technology in consumer entertainment.
The latest offering of the David Wiener Collection, Art.Suono is the only compact, wireless, music enhancing system available with both DWC-Aphex Systems technology and full iPod compatibility. Like the DWC’s flagship Ferrari Art.Engine, the Art.Suono is both an innovative audio instrument and an elegant sculpture that enhances any environment in which it’s placed. The DWC is a luxury line of audio, entertainment, furnishing and fashion offerings combining stunning design, innovative technology, and exclusivity.
The Art.Suono uses a proprietary wireless transmission technology, DWC-Wireless, that lets users transmit ANY audio source to ANY audio system (including the Ferrari Art.Engine, and future DWC systems). The audio source can be an iPod, a computer, a CD player, an MP3 player or satellite radio.
Equally important, the Art.Suono introduces a remarkable sonic technology to the consumer electronics world — DWC-Aphex circuitry, specially developed by Aphex Systems for exclusive use in the David Wiener Collection. Aphex Systems circuitry has long been used by audio engineers and top recording artists like Linda Ronstadt, James Taylor and Paul McCartney in mastering their albums. Now, its proven benefits are available to everyone through the Art.Suono. Specifically, the DWC- Aphex circuitry:
Makes recorded music sound more “alive” by restoring the harmonics lost in compressed music files, and by providing better detail, imaging, and an incredible sense of spaciousness and clarity so each instrument and voice is clear and distinct.
Optimizes bass frequency response, providing deeper and more resonant bass with the fullness, richness and depth that makes any audio system sound more powerful. Unlike an equalizer or bass boost circuit, DWC-Aphex restores and improves bass without increasing the listening volume, or creating muddiness or increasing the amount of needed amplification.
Maintains all the spaciousness, clarity, and deeper, fuller bass of musical performances at ALL listening levels, including lower volumes.Maintains all the spaciousness, clarity, and deeper, fuller bass of musical performances at ALL listening levels, including lower volumes.
Makes listening to music far more enjoyable by restoring music’s natural brightness and range with the clarity, detail and presence original artists intended.
The Art.Suono’s DWC-Wireless transmission harnesses Spread Spectrum technology, generally considered the most effective method of achieving effective communication in the 2.4GHz ISM band. A technique called Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) allows DWC-Wireless to rapidly change channels to maintain a constant connection and eliminate drop-outs, enabling the Art.Suono to provide consistent, stable connectivity, and the highest quality audio signal available.
The Art.Suono consists of a compact transmitter, designed to rest on a table or desk next to the user, and a compact receiver housing the DWC-Aphex circuitry and styled to allow it to be displayed or hidden, as users prefer. Each Art.Suono can serve up to two receivers so that multiple music systems may be used in a home or office. Both elements are fabricated to the highest standards, with machined aircraft-grade aluminum, carbon fiber accents, and fine detailing and finishes making Art.Suono the most luxurious and sonically exciting iPod-compatible dock yet created.
In addition to DWC-Wireless, DWC-Aphex technology, and its stand-out design, the Art.Suono is also the most practical of all music systems including an iPod dock. It features iPod-docking and charging for any iPod, an “Engine Start” power button, a “Shift” input signal switch, a concealed input signal jack, LED indicators, and a convenient volume control designed to allow quick, precise volume changes and muting for those times it’s necessary to talk on the phone.
Installation is quick and simple, requiring no tools or computer skills. All accessories and wires are included with each Art.Suono system.
Owners of a DWC collectable audio product are assured of the highest quality, interference-free, wireless audio transmission system available. They also enjoy the benefit of the extraordinary DWC-Aphex music enhancing circuitry that restores life to bit-rate reduced audio recordings, such as the digital music files used by iPods and MP3 players.
The Art.Suono is rolling out now to select retail outlets and online (www.dwcollection.com/artsuono) at a suggested price of $1,499. For the nearest dealer or to order directly, contact info@DWCollection.com. It can be seen Jan. 7-10, in Room 1405, Alexis Park Hotel, during T.H.E. Show, and a special Press Event Jan. 9, 5-8 PM, in the Ferrari Showroom at the Wynn Las Vegas Hotel.
