Recognized for Human Interface, Lighting Control, Media Server and Control System

At the recent Electronic House Expo (EHX) in Orlando, FL, Crestron won four Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) Mark of Excellence Awards across a broad range of categories. A finalist in seven of 16 categories, Crestron won Platinum for the TPS-6X touchpanel, the CLS-C6MRF wireless iLux Integrated Lighting System, and CEN-ISERVER; the AMS-AIP won Gold for Best Control System.

The Mark of Excellence Awards honor outstanding innovation and achievement in custom home electronics products, services and installation technologies. A panel of experts (including systems integrators, manufacturers, members of the trade press and industry consultants) reviews the submissions and selects Platinum and Gold award winners in recognition of outstanding achievement in the industry.

The multi-award winning TPS-6X is the next generation of touchpanels, designed as a wired Ethernet tabletop and a long-range 2-way RF wireless controller that offers extraordinary speed, versatility and reliability. While docked, the TPS-6X displays full-motion video in a scalable window; undocked it instantly operates wirelessly.

The wireless iLux™ CLS-C6MRF – part of the Crestron Green Light™ family of products – is an integrated lighting system with a built-in motion detector operating on Crestron infiNET™ mesh network technology; perfect for both new and retrofit applications.

Bridging the gap between traditional, expensive audio servers and basic docking stations, CEN-ISERVER uses an iPod as a permanently installed hard drive, and was recognized as 2008 EH Product of the Year and CEDIA Best New Product. Exclusive built-in technology transmits USB communication over Ethernet, which empowers iServer to connect to the home computer network and automatically synchronize with the iTunes library whenever new content is added or playlists are created.

A recent winner at the 2009 CEA Innovations Design and Engineering Awards, the AMS-AIP (Adagio Media System with Advanced Image Processing) combines a high-performance digital home theater and multi-room audio distribution solution. Features include sophisticated surround processing, amplification, and digital video processing for a complete home theater, plus audio signal routing for four or more pairs of remote room speakers. It has a built-in Crestron control system and, most impressively, accepts, processes and switches HDMI with HDCP.
