About B&K- How do we do it?
We are often asked this question. How do we do it, make high end gear in the U.S.A. for half or a third of the cost of our competition? The answer is really not that complicated, first we have been Designing, Engineering and Manufacturing our products under one roof (actually two) in Buffalo, New York for over twenty years; second, we have great technology partners, Motorola — now Freescale Semiconductor, Dolby Labs, Silicon Optix — now IDT, and Universal Remote to name a few of our leading edge technology partners; third we share parts, chassis designs, transformers etc. as broadly as possible across our product line so we can afford better parts and buy them in sufficient quantity to be able to reduce the cost of the top shelf components we specify for our products, we refer to this as the “repeated use of superior parts in families of assemblies and products”. Our simplified name for this principle is, the 3R’s of manufacturing, Reliable, Repeatable and Remarkable. But, at the end of the day, it is our people that keep the 3R’s alive at B & K, B & K’s employees are dedicated to bringing you and your customers the best picture and sound systems available. We design our systems to be easy to install, easy to operate and meet or exceed your standard of being Reliable, Repeatable and Remarkable in performance and ease of use. At B & K our product is Designed and Built in the U.S.A to be, Simply Better.
