Advanced Media 8x DVD-R Printable Disc Earns Industry Praise and Consumer Acceptance

RIDATA Brand Product Continues Company’s Tradition of Marketing Only Quality Items

Diamond Bar, CA –April 5, 2005– The RIDATA 8x DVD-R printable optical disc is earning high praise and acclaim from several leading industry companies as well as wide acceptance by the general public, Harvey Liu, RITEK Corporation president, stated in a recent e-mail sent to company employees. Marketed in the Americas by Advanced Media, Inc., the US subsidiary of RITEK, the popular RIDATA label includes recordable CD and DVD media, electronic storage products, and digital media accessories.

“As a company, we couldn’t be happier with the overall success of our printable 8x DVD-R,” wrote Liu in his e-mailed message. “In Asia, Europe, the United States, everywhere it has been sold, the response has been very favorable. It further enhances the RIDATA name, which has become synonymous with high quality, reliability, and superior engineering and production techniques.”

Liu wrote that Mark Strobel, Primera Technology vice president of sales and marketing, publicly commented on the quality of RIDATA printable discs, including the 8x DVD-R, in a statement made just prior to 2005 CES. He said, “RIDATA discs exhibit all of the outstanding characteristics we look for when approving media for use with our printers. The discs dry quickly, have bright and vibrant colors, and of course, are top-notch in their recording abilities. We’re pleased to have approved this superior media for use on our complete range of products, which includes inkjet and thermal printers as well as Primera Technology’s best-selling Bravo II and BravoPro Disc Publishers.” Primera Technology is the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of CD and DVD duplication and printing equipment.

As for user acceptance, Liu’s e-mail stated demand for the RIDATA printable disc already had grown 50% during the 1st quarter of 2005, which, at the time of the mailing, still had several weeks to go. He said that demand for the product in the US was so great that the company was required to air ship additional pieces from its Taiwan manufacturing facilities to meet the surge in demand.

The RIDATA 8x DVD-R inkjet printable disc has a 4.7GB capacity and features a white printable surface and no stacking ring. It is engineered with a deep-purple dye that burns crisp and clear. Consistent high-quality recording and compatibility with a wide range of DVD players and printing systems such as those from Primera and Rimage, make it perfect for virtually any copying need where a cost-effective, customized label is desired.
