Your DVD player is old, you want a progressive-scan unit anyway, and you'd like to stream your MP3 files from your PC to your home stereo system. The Amoisonic Netplay NDP9200 solves all three problems. A PC Card slot provides a wired Ethernet connection, or you can add wireless 802.11b capability. In addition, the Netplay displays JPEG photos and plays MPEG video. Amoi is a Chinese manufacturer relatively new to the U.S.; the Gateway Connected DVD Player and GoVideo D2730 have the same functions and similar appearances, but Gateway has a better recognition factor.
