The $200 Sony NWZ-S718F, one of the latest additions to the Walkman line of portable media players, looks similar to the previous round of Walkmans. Ostensibly, this compact 8GB player's major selling point is integrated noise cancellation. Sony takes a commendable stab at noise cancellation here, but it's nowhere near as strong as with, say, Bose's Quiet Comfort 3 headphones. In addition, the circuitry works solely with the included earphones.
