REVIEW
Sony's 10-megapixel Cyber-shot DSC-T300 is one of the few point-and-shoot cameras on the market that features two of today's hottest consumer electronics buzzwords: widescreen and touch screen. Its sprawling 3.5-inch LCD offers an unmatched viewing experience when capturing photos in 16:9 aspect ratio (widescreen) mode. The jumbo LCD also doubles as a touch-screen control panel, which lets you easily navigate menus and adjust settings with the touch of a fingertip. Even cooler, while shooting, you can touch an object or face on the screen and the camera will make the selected object the focus of its shot. These features help justify its steep price tag ($399 direct), but this shooter is undermined by what could be a big deal breaker: dismal battery performance.
