REVIEW
The Dell 1125 Multifunction Laser ($249 direct) is Dell's attempt to compete with the Canon imageClass MF4150, our current Editors' Choice for a personal monochrome laser all-in-one (AIO). When I reviewed the MF4150, I was impressed with how good a job Canon had done of packing all the features you need for a home office or for a personal AIO in a larger office into a unit that was small enough to easily share a desk with. The 1125 offers almost all the same features, including fast print speed, in a similar size package. The key word in the sentence, however, is almost. It also stubs its toe just a bit on output quality. Even so, the negatives aren't quite enough to rule it out as a reasonable choice.
