LCoS projectors aren't quite as exotic as they were a year or two ago, but they're still far from run-of-the- mill. If you haven't seen one in action yet, it's worth your time to check one out. The Canon Realis X700 ($2,500 street), for one, is well worth looking at, especially if you're in the market for an XGA (1,024-by-768) projector and need the best possible image quality.
