review

You may have heard of Facebook? It's only the latest and greatest social-networking phenomenon, akin to Friendster in 2003 and MySpace in 2005. In response, veteran and start-up vendors alike are scrambling to create capable mobile versions so that users can keep connected all the time, even when they're away from a computer. Mobile Web pages aren't sufficient, either; the old WAP standard is, to put it mildly, limited. All things considered, Facebook's WAP page at m.facebook.com isn't bad, but if you have a BlackBerry, you'll want Research In Motion's impressive Facebook for BlackBerry native client. It's icon-driven, fast, and makes staying in touch with your Facebook friends quick and easy.
