In what may be this year's most interesting example of spin outside of the political arena, Ricoh's Web site calls the Aficio SP C210 ($300 street) a "high-speed black & white printer with convenient color at an affordable price." That's all well and good—except, of course, that it's a color laser and needs to be judged as one. The SP C210 is a little on the large side even for a color laser, which makes it huge if you insist on thinking of it as a monochrome printer. However you think of it, it's a reasonable choice for a home office, small office, or personal color laser in any size office.
