The Polywell P3503 ($4,559 direct, $4,999 with 24-inch widescreen LCD monitor) is one of the less expensive high-end gaming systems out there. Although it's a powerful gaming system with a quad-core processor and a hot gaming graphics card, it falls a little behind its competition in the $5K club. Sure, you save quite a bit of money over the Poly's dual-card-equipped peers, but in my opinion, if you're going for it, you might as well go whole hog.

Bottom Line

The Polywell P3503 is relatively inexpensive for a high-end gaming rig. Unfortunately, its gaming performance likewise comes up short.

Pros

Quad-core processor. A little bit cheaper than the other high-end gaming rigs. Speedy hard drives. Quick multimedia performance.

Cons

Build quality not quite in the $5K club. Single graphics card holds back 3D performance. Loud fans.
