Logitech Harmony 1000

Logitech Harmony 1000

review

The Harmony 1000 is one slickly crafted remote. It's got a big, beautiful, color touch-screen LCD that's roughly 3 by 2 inches. The case also has a nice brushed-metal top with several hard buttons, too. But although the device looks really nice, I suggest you wait to try it before you run out and buy it.

Bottom Line

The Logitech Harmony 1000 is easy on the eyes with its big, bright LCD touch screen and brushed-metal styling. You also get the same legendary ease of use and dead-simple setup Harmony remote users know and love. That's why it's a shame this device relies mainly on software buttons that are tough to press and aren't very configurable.

Pros

Beautiful remote. Easy to program. Large database of supported devices. Comes with a charging station that displays the remote handsomely.

Cons

Does not come with a RF receiver. Buttons on the LCD are close together and cannot be moved.
