With so many laptops moving to the new Intel Centrino Duo platform (aka Santa Rosa), Lenovo cleverly positioned its latest ultraportable as a more budget-conscious version of the ThinkPad X60 (Vista). The Lenovo 3000 V200 is clever in the sense that it has two compelling features that people can't get with the ThinkPad X60 (Vista): a built-in DVD burner and a $1,399 starting price. In addition, its impressive processing parts make the V200 almost as fast as its ThinkPad siblings.
