The first thing you'll notice when looking at the Hitachi DZHS300A camcorder is that there are lots of abbreviations plastered all over it. Among the alphabet soup of letters, you'll find snappy abbreviations such as DVD, RAM, RW, HDD, and SD. Obviously, this camcorder can do a lot. All this functionality, though, translates into a product that's far from user-friendly. That's sad, as the DZ- HS300A is a unique device in the camcorder industry.

Bottom Line

Confusing menus and functions. Unintuitive controls. Terrible still capabilities.
